If you’re already a Milwaukee user, this is a perfect companion the rest of your tools. For a Milwaukee device, this one is priced affordably. More importantly, a portable air compressor/tire inflator is something everybody should keep in their vehicle. I’ve kept such a compressor in my car forever, and they can be lifesavers when you’ve got a near-flat tire in the middle of nowhere and you can’t immediately change the tire. Which makes it even better for the wife or girlfriend to keep in her car. My old one gave up the ghost on me, and this Milwaukee was delivered the following day — just in time for my granddaughter to show up begging me to check her tires — all of which were badly under-inflated. The Milwaukee compressor had them all up-to-spec in less than ten minutes. The days of getting “free air” at the gas station are long gone. Everyone, even convenience stores, charge at least a dollar for only a few minutes’ worth of air. And oftentimes, the gauges on their air hoses aren’t all that accurate, meaning you’re not putting the proper amount of air in your tires. Just connect the hose, turn it on, set the target pressure you want and press the go-button. The pump shuts off automatically when the target pressure is reached.
