Made from blackened polypropylene monofilaments braided into an 18 mm hollow cable, it delivers a tensile strength of 5.3 t and is engineered to protect trees from storm damage for up to 12 years. Key Features The 12-fold braiding of two yarns makes insertion of the expanding insert and shock-absorber completely straightforward. Polypropylene monofilaments provide outstanding resistance to moisture, UV and general environmental stress. The cable loses only 2–3% of its tensile strength per year, giving it an exceptional 12-year service life — one of the longest in the dynamic cabling category.
