Description Vintage Iconic Siesta Chair by Ingmar Relling for Westnofa / Ekornes. A stunning Midcentury Modern Norwegian Lounge Chair / Armchair. A real statement piece of furniture. This is a stunning “Siesta” armchair with beech frame and a high back, with gorgeously curved frame. Upholstered in original canvas lining and beige leather/suede pad cushions/armrests. Very comfortable and stylish. A unique edition of the classic 1970s Ingmar Relling designed Siesta chair. Badged for Ekornes, but originally made by Westnofa, so a late edition of a hugely popular design, in production for decades and made for comfort as well as being aesthetically pleasing.   I am selling 2 of these chairs, contact me if you would like the pair, I’m happy to offer a discount if you would like both.   Size Approx: H to top of back 102 cm H to Seat 46 cm W 67 cm D 79 cm In good used vintage condition, the chair is structurally sound. The upholstery is fair condition and has some signs of wear, and there is some pilling to the seat pad. The frame has some minor signs of wear, some scuffs and marks. There is a decorative button missing. Overall in general good vintage condition.
